FIFA 11 Review

Before 2010, my buddies and I were only interested in playing Pro Evolution Soccer (PES) but when FIFA 10 came out on the market, all of my friends started playing it and deserted PES. At first, I was quite sceptical about FIFA 10 and didn't really favour the switch. Nonetheless, I gave it a try and later on I realised that FIFA 10 was better than PES! Now, FIFA 11 is about to come out and reading its reviews on the internet really excites me!

If I had to pinpoint some of the major major changes or should I say improvements to this game they would be player faces, "Personality +", and "Pro Passing". FIFA 11 has brought soccer game to a whole new level. The similarity between the player faces in the game and real life is astonishing. The trick is by taking actual photos of the players first and then rendering them.

PRO PASSING
In Pro Passing, passing the ball will not be as easy as it used to be. "Ping pong passing" has been eliminated from the game. You have to control the power of your passing and each player has different level of ability to pass the ball. For instance, don't expect Carles Puyol's through-ball to be as good as Xavi's. With Pro Passing, passing is now more realistic and therefore producing unpredictable results. Other additions are swerve passes, driven lobs, fancy flicks, and through-ball with backspin.

PERSONALITY +

With Personality +,what you see on the pitch is exactly what you get in the game. All the players will behave, dribble, run, and move the same way as they do in real life. For example, Ronaldo's bolt-upright running technique has been added, Drogba and Rooney will be more effective at their bulldozer-like approach, and Tevez is now full of little flicks. EA Sports didn't just upgrade the player faces but also their whole body. There are now nine different body types instead of three and that include "Special Cases" type for player like Peter Crouch who obviously has unique body structure and size! The result-identifying a player on the pitch has become a lot more easier.

AUDIO

Now, you get to import and assign customized chants for every team and league. You can even record your own chants with our friends and upload it. Your home club's anthems and chants can now be played during the player introductions, half time, after goals, or even in defeat. For me, the best thing is that you can hear your echo in the stands of stadiums like Old Trafford & San Siro. You will also able to create your personal soundtrack by importing your favourite music into the game.

Here is the trailer of the game. Can't wait!!! Oh,before i forget, the demo will be available for download on the 16th of September and the game will be on the market around October I think.

Six Pack

I cant remember when was the last time i didnt want a six pack but for god's sake getting it wasnt easy at all.I used to do some push-ups and crunches every single day along with some dumbbell liftings and after a few days,i couldnt stand them anymore and i stopped.A few weeks later i started all over again but the same thing happened. If anything,i learned that the most important thing is your mental toughness because to do this, you gotta have a lot of dedication, discipline, patience, you name it,you gotta have it all. After doing some research,i found out that push-ups and crunches are not as effective as i thought. There are other exercises that can give me better chances of having a six pack. So,what are they???

Reverse Crunch: Lie flat on the floor with a neutral spine, with knees at a 90-degree angle, feet a few inches off the floor and legs together, hands by your sides (behind your ears if you're more experienced). Focus on contracting your abdominals to lift your hips up and in toward your rib case. Exhale as you contract; inhale to return to starting position.

Bent-Elbow Plank: This exercise works the whole trunk, particularly the transversus abdominis. Start by lying on your belly and then lift yourself up onto your toes and forearms (elbows in line with shoulders) while contracting your abdominals and keeping your back neutral. Hold that position for five seconds, then rest and repeat. Ultimately, strive to hold the pose for 90 seconds without any rest -- for one set. If you're more experienced, you can also do this exercise on your hands and toes. (As a beginner, start on your hands and knees with a neutral spine and simply contract the abdominals on an exhale without moving your back.)

Bicycle: This exercise works your obliques as well as your rectus abdominis. Lie on your back, hips and knees bent at 90-degrees, chest curled over ribs, hands behind your head. Extend the left leg out while bringing the right knee in towards the chest and rotating the left shoulder toward the right knee. Keep the arm from crossing the face. Rotate from the trunk through the center to the other side without dropping your chest. Move in slow, controlled movements without shifting your hips.

Side crunches : Practice side crunches every day. Side crunches are similar to standard crunches except you will be exercising your oblique muscles (the area of the waist where "love handles" sometimes form). To do side crunches, assume the crunch position and then rest your right ankle against the left knee, as if you are crossing your leg. Lift toward the left knee, bringing your right elbow up to touch the knee if you can. Do as many as you can and then switch sides.

You should be training your abs every other day, after a weight workout. All you have to do is choose two or three different exercises and perform four to five sets of 10-12 reps for each one.

Just remember, however, that no amount of any exercise will give you that coveted six pack if you have a layer of fat around your middle. You need to get your body fat down to about 10% or less before your abdominal muscles become visible. So be sure to consistently eat right and do a lot of cardio. Some say that the best exercise for abs is 30 minutes on the treadmill!

Football Boots

Wearing a good pair of boots alone doesnt guarantee that you'll play well but they certainly help!Good boots come with good money and thats the problem. Most of us dont have "good money" but thats not the case with stars like Cristiano Ronaldo or Kaka because they get to wear these really nice and expensive boots for free and maybe even get paid for it.If you ever wonder what boots are worn by big footballers like them, well wonder no more!

Cristiano Ronaldo

Cristiano Ronaldo,CR9 is currently the world's most expensive football(soccer) player in history after having transfered from Manchester United to Real Madrid in a deal worth USD132 million (80 million pounds) and that figures show just how good he is on the pitch. He maybe a diver, but who doesn't?Many other footballers are divers and cheaters. They even gave Maradona "the hand of god" (im an england fan). Some people also dont like CR because of his arrogance, but I say hell with all that.Look at his talent! As a fan of Man Utd,everytime he got the ball at his feet,i had this feeling that something good would happen and most of the time they came true. Its sad to see him leaving for Real Madrid but I dont blame him. He's been dreaming to play there since childhood and you should follow your dream, aite?

So,lets take a look at the life of one of the best football player the world has ever seen...

Cristiano Ronaldo dos Santos Aveiro was born on 5 February 1985, the youngest child of Maria Dolores dos Santos Aveiro, a cook, and José Dinis Aveiro, a municipal gardener."Ronaldo", was chosen after then-U.S. president Ronald Reagan. At the age of 8, Ronaldo played for amateur team Andorinha, where his father was the kit man. In 1995, Ronaldo signed with local club Nacional, and, after a title-winning campaign, he went on a three-day trial with Sporting Clube de Portugal, who subsequently signed him for an undisclosed sum.He became the only player ever to play for Sporting's U-16, U-17, U-18, B-team, and first team, all within one season.

When he was 15, Ronaldo was diagnosed with a racing heart, a condition that might have forced him to give up playing football. The Sporting staff were made aware of the condition and Ronaldo's mother gave her authorisation for him to go into hospital. While there, he had an operation in which a laser was used to cauterise the area of his heart that was causing the problem. The surgery took place in the morning and Ronaldo was discharged from hospital by the end of the afternoon; he resumed training only a few days later.
He was first spotted by then-Liverpool manager Gérard Houllier at 16, but Liverpool declined to take him on because they decided he was too young and needed some time to develop his skills. However, he came to the attention of Alex Ferguson in the summer of 2003, when Sporting defeated United 3–1.

Ronaldo became Manchester United's first-ever Portuguese player when he signed for £12.24 million after the 2002–03 season. He requested the number 28 (his number at Sporting), as he did not want the pressure of living up to the expectation linked to the number 7 shirt, which had previously been worn by players such as George Best, Bryan Robson, Eric Cantona, and David Beckham. "After I joined, the manager asked me what number I'd like. I said 28. But Ferguson said 'No, you're going to have No. 7,' and the famous shirt was an extra source of motivation. I was forced to live up to such an honour."

In November and December 2006, Ronaldo received consecutive Barclays Player of the Month honours, becoming only the third player in Premier League history to do so after Dennis Bergkamp in 1997 and Robbie Fowler in 1996. Despite rumours circulating in March 2007 that Real Madrid were willing to pay an unprecedented €80 million (£54 million) for Ronaldo, he signed a five-year, £120,000-a-week (£31 million total) extension with United on 13 April, making him the highest-paid player in team history.
Ronaldo amassed a host of personal awards for the season. He won the PFA Players' Player of the Year and PFA Young Player of the Year awards, joining Andy Gray (in 1977) as the only players to receive this honour. In April 2007, he completed the treble by winning the PFA Fans' Player of the Year. Ronaldo was also one of eight Manchester United players named in the 2006–07 PFA Premier League Team Of The Year.

Ronaldo scored his first hat trick for Manchester United in a 6–0 win against Newcastle United at Old Trafford on 12 January 2008.On 19 March 2008, Ronaldo captained United for the first time in his career in a home win over Bolton, scoring both goals in the 2–0 victory .The second of the goals was his 33rd of the campaign, which set a new club single-season scoring record by a midfielder and thus topped George Best's forty-year-old total of 32 goals in the 1967–68 season.Ronaldo's torrid scoring streak was rewarded with his becoming the first winger to win the 2007–08 European Golden Shoe.In a 5–0 win over Stoke City on 15 November 2008, Ronaldo scored his 100th and 101st goals in all competitions for Manchester United, both from free kicks. The goals also meant that Ronaldo had now scored against each of the other 19 teams in the Premier League at the time.

On 2 December, Ronaldo became Manchester United's first Ballon d'Or recipient since George Best in 1968. On 8 January 2009, Ronaldo was uninjured in a single-car accident in which he wrote off his Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano in a tunnel.Four days later, he became the first Premier League player ever to be named the FIFA World Player of the Year, in addition to being the first Portuguese player to win the award since Luís Figo in 2001.

On 11 June, Manchester United accepted an unconditional offer of £80 million from Real Madrid for Ronaldo after it was revealed that he again had expressed his desire to leave the club. It is believed that Ronaldo's contract is worth €13 million per season and it has a €1 billion buy-out clause!!!.He was presented to the world media as a Real Madrid player on 6 July, where he was handed the number 9 jersey. Ronaldo was welcomed by 80,000 fans at his presentation at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, surpassing Diego Maradona's record of 75,000 fans when he was presented in Italy, after he was transferred from Barcelona to Napoli in 1984.He broke a Madrid club record when he scored in a league match against Villareal and became the first ever player to score in his first four La Liga appearances.

Now,lets look at why he is the world's most expensive player...
